Annalise is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the state of Texas and has her Masters degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She completed her Bachelors in Education at Texas A&M University. Annalise offers individual counseling for adolescents through adults. She also has received training in pre-marital and marital counseling, and enjoys working with couples.
Since moving to Dallas four years ago, Annalise has been involved in mentoring high school girls. She has helped them walk though self-esteem issues, problems arising from social media, perfectionism and performance thinking, and relationship and body image issues. This has given her insight into the life and culture of adolescents and young adults, particularly in North Dallas. Annalise also has experience working with individuals navigating through identity and same sex attraction.
Annalise currently works at an intensive outpatient facility for eating disorders and has experience collaborating with a team of professionals to meet individual’s specific needs and understands that each person needs a unique treatment plan. She believes in holistic health utilizing body, mind and spirit and works with individuals to assess and help grow all aspects of themselves. Annalise also utilizes EMDR in order to treat individuals who may be suffering from traumatic life experience or intense anxiety.
Annalise married her husband Clifton in 2014. They are members of a local church and are involved in weekly home group. When not at the office, you can find Annalise teaching Pilates, trying new coffee shops around Dallas or walking on Katy Trail with her sweet golden-doodle Brinkley.
