Mike Holmes

MA, LPC

Mike grew up in Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU in 1994 with a chemistry degree. After a couple of years as a chemist, he and his wife, Meredith, moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area where he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While there, he received a masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and a masters degree in Christian Education.

He has worked in the local church since 1996 and the mental health field since 2000. In 2015, Mike started Veritas Counseling Center, a non-profit organization that makes professional counseling accessible for anyone in Baton Rouge and St. Francisville, LA. Having recently moved back to the Dallas area, Mike is excited to be back with the Nikaō team.

Mike enjoys working with people inside and outside the church, helping them live the lives they want to live. He is comfortable working with older children, adolescents and adults of all ages. He focuses on:

Mike and Meredith have been married for 25 years, and they have a 22-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son.
